December $200 Shopping Spree Winner Is . . .
The winner of the drawing for the big December Indie Shopping Spree is Judy Scotnicki of West Concord — congratulations, Judy! She will receive an allowance of $200 to do business with any one or several of our members.
Judy was filled with excitement at the news. “I’ve done my best to be a supporter of as many local businesses as I can for many years now,” she said. “We have such wonderful ones that I just love to support!”
We had a strong showing of entries — upward of 1000 collected during December. Many savvy shoppers told us that they knew if they held back spending their specially-marked $2 bills until the last month of the program, they would be entered to win the largest of the three prizes ($100 for October, $150 for November, and $200 for December).
Displaying some weird, wonderful neighborhood mojo, Judy lives right around the corner from our November winner! Which is pretty amazing, considering how many entry forms we received each month.
